The Chinese American Community in the United States Was Divided
Asian yang became very active politically in advocating for the establishment of full diplomatic relations between the united states and china. He was aware of the problems of the culture revolution, but he could see with his own eyes that the huge obstacles were so much better than it had been during world war too. And so he became a real ad et for this new china. But he and others had to face the fact that the chinese american community in the united states was divided between those who fled from the communists in the late 19 forties or early 19 fifties,. some of them went to tiwan initially, and those who were more sympathetic to the communists.
