Federal safety regulators were worried that the big earthen dam there, which is now 72 years old, could collapse in a major earthquake. So they ordered the reservoir completely drained and the dam re to modern earthquake standers. Neighbors who live on the other side of the reservoir say after that happened, they began seeing wild pigs walking across the dry lake bed.
