The Problem With Moral Hierarchy
I don't see another solution other than going back to the old school, let's say, Abrahamic religions. The only problem with that is that rationality, I would argue, need to metaphysic to understand how to do that. And it all depends on what that your attitude is towards truth and what you think is more important when you hierarchically prioritize whether it's the well-being of society. We have no moral infrastructure for that because we're refusing to even think about it.
