Cicero's Speech to the Senate

Cicero has a few options here politically. He can have Caroline arrested, order him to go into exile. And all of these have different implications politically. What he decides to do with this speech is to try to persuade Caroline to leave the city voluntarily. So that's the object of the speech, one object, and we'll talk about other aspects of it.
