We haven't had a large scale conflict for quite a what you know approaching a hundred years now. I think it's one of those good news stories that's hard to spin because um you know war is generally bad anyway and delivers so many negative externalities, he says. But the young male syndrome uh that sort of in cell anger and violence isn't much much much greater than we used to be able to experience. He thinks culture has neutralized all sorts of violence and antisocial behavior by delivering sex oriented experiences which make us feel like we've arrived.
