Writing Judgments Is Like Writing Literature

Legal storytelling is narrative within a cultural argument, as Voigt-Wight puts it. It's a way of structuring the legal argument, and it provides argument with more persuasive thoughts. But to know how to weave a normative narrative thread, I think is an advantage for any legal profession. And also for judges to establish their authority... regardless of the form of authority which is vested in them.
