The Importance of Self-Conscious Practices of Mediation
I think we will react to that in part by self consciously adopting practices of mediation like the one you describe. I mean, yeah, it's just a sophisticated way of a screen blocker type application, but I think it might be it might be quite useful. One of the real problems of the internet right now is not that it's kind of algorithmic, but that it doesn't actually give you a choice over the kinds of algorithms you want. And then you have the problem as always of the gap between the kind of person you want to be and the kind of people you currently kind of are.
