The Value of Journaling
I do a lot of journaling when I'm writing music. Usually because I try and write to process my emotions I guess. A lot of my songs are quite personal so nobody's ever going to read that but I find it very creative. I also studied fine arts. I was first focused on graphic design also but switched to painting or painting but I dropped it when I realized that I spent more time in making music than in painting. It's still part of my work as a solo artist to be in control of the whole range of output. There's value in doing things that you're not particularly good at. In a creative sense it kind of helps you connect to other parts of creativity
