Trans Themes in Video Games

i think maybe the wachowskis at the time, didn't realize, or didn't fully internalize, that they were putting trans themes into this story. i wouldn't even see it as being interpreted as being trans but i could also just see it as, like, i want to look like kiano reeves in this video game, even though i don't look like him.
