There's been some legitimate criticism that we've had too much sort of parachuting in. What you really want are the people who live there to be the reporters, to tell you. This is actually one of the great things when I was working with Gannett, which owns over 100 local newspapers. We're a very diverse place with lots of perspectives and we need to understand ourselves better.
