The Proliferation of Anonymous Sources Hurts Journalism

I think there's, there's idea that it will hurt the New York Times or mainstream media outlets when in fact they're the ones that have the army of editors and lawyers. So you're right that lowering the defamation standard, at least to me, doesn't clearly benefit certainly not an ideological side one way or the other. By the way, though, on the anonymous sources thing, can we just do a little cul-de-sac? Yes. I really believe that the proliferation of anonymous sources has wildly hurt journalism and the public's trust.
