I feel like the way we've talked about the shift towards a more economic centered conversation around immigration is that I feel like it paints immigrants as not really as people, but as ultimately either tools to fix the economy or problems hurting the economy. How could we go about fixing that and what kind of harms does that have, you know, to people on the ground who are being used in this way? Preazily, our immigration system is about numbers, right?
