Introduction
Rheash is a podcast about the social media phenomenon that strikes a nerve in our culture only to be quickly forgotten. In early October 2021, Twitter was in a frenzy over a New York Times story written by Robert Quilker called Who is the Bad Art Friend. The piece told the story of two women, Don Dorland and Sonia Larson, who at the time of publishing were engaged in a legal battle over a story they both claimed had been partially plagiarized from her. This episode is going to go through the story generally, as told in the Quilker article, and then we're going to look at it in its life as a viral sensation.
