The Children of Immigrants Rise Up More Than the Children of Us Born
Children of immigrants who are in the 20 fifth per centile of the income distribution have more upward economic mobility than children of us born. The reasons why are both interesting and also complicated, according to author David Frum. "What's really special about immigrants is that they're foot loose," he says.
