The UN's Resolution 22 16 Allowing the Saudis to Inspect Ships Coming Into Yemeni Waters
In resolution 22 16, Saudi Arabia was given the right to inspect every ship and every vessel coming in through Yemeni waters. The UN ships themselves had to seek permission from Saudi Arabia to enter Yemen. And there were times where the Saudis would just threaten to bomb any ship that came through if it didn't get proper permissions to go through. Meanwhile, causing all of this havoc and widespread hunger and, you know, steps away from famine.
