How to Write a Great Essay
I think Simon's feedback might not have been so universal. It might have been for the people in the competition who tended to waffle or get really into the idea and things. And sometimes you need someone to just metaphorically slap you in the face and be like, we don't need all that extra bit. Make it clearer, make it shorter. I want this as clear and as concise and as bare bones as possible because people don’t want to read difficult writing. They just don't want to read it. That's great.
