The Unusual Experience of Making Escape Rooms

The first room that we ever made was in 2014 here in Portland. We're competitive puzzle solving people like we do that for fun on the weekend. And so when we made our game, we had gone to play one and on the way back from this drive, we were like, "How hard could it be?" So I think even now, we did something that is unique in terms of integration of puzzles and story and the diegesis of the objects in it. It really hit something that is special to me and that I'm trying to carry on that I haven't really seen elsewhere.
