Neurodiversity and Autism

The idea of neurodiversity has been around since the late 90s. It's becoming more and more available in our discourse, in our conversation. And I think it's really because we're recognizing that there isn't a single way for the brain to develop. In fact, there are hundreds or maybe thousands of ways that the brain can develop differently in different people. We should respect differences and make space for these differences,. Many disabilities might fall under this idea of Neurodiversity.
