Is There a Disparity in Mortgage Lending?
If a black person wants to buy something that's $120, they should only be charged 100. This should be taken out of their checking account and they swipe their debit card. That would make a way in more sense than what that policy was. And so I'm saying, yeah, if the issue is because they have not as much assets, worse credit scores, things like that. The solution is not to come in and lean on the banks to go ahead and approve loans to black applicants that they really don't want to give them. But in general, studying these issues and trying to figure out the sources of the actual bias is necessary.
