Printing on Uncoated Stock

Back in the day, benet used to print on uncoated stock with nothing on it. Now they use a crystal press that uses special ink and goes under high intensity lamp. This takes four days off production process but ensures sharp detail. The best printers understand what you're trying to do - so don't love them. You need someone who is willing to have a dialogue about your design ideas. A whole generation of young people are not comfortable with this kind of colour scheme. They like bright colours such as neon or sorai cs which we've been doing for years. It could be ten years before Benet's next issue comes out.
