The Different Types of Boats That the Americans Used to Operate
The boats were armed with 50-calorie machine guns and sometimes heavier weapons. Some of them would be involved in, you know, returning to the support ships to bring back more ammunition and supplies. There was a medical aid station boat where they often would have doctors on board during these missions. They also had refueling boats that could come back up and refuel the other boats that were available as well.
