I remember agreeing to be in Anna Christie, which is this brilliant, Eugene O'Neill play. He's described as this sort of man-mountain Irishman who talks about kind of beating up men and how many men he's taken on. There's no point doing work that doesn't really lead you back to the piece because you can waste time making detailed analysis of something that never really gets drawn on.
