The Double Standard of Play in Trump's Prosecution

There is a double standard of play. This is why even some of the most resistant minded anti-Trumpers are deeply uncomfortable with this result. The indictment through its sheer pettiness inadvertently diminish Trump's misdeeds. It may even more wearingly diminish his accusers by casting them much as Clinton successfully did stars team a generation ago. And of course, Donald Trump's appeal is based in part on the conviction that the rules are rigged against him and his supporters.
