HRT is not there to replicate the natural cycle, it's there to help with symptoms. We give a higher dose of estrogen for part of the month in women who are perimenopause. That's called cyclical HRT. But if you're postmenopause and you haven't had a natural bleed for a year, there's a different regimen. The endometrium doesn't need as much progesterone to be protected post menopause. Do I think every woman needs it? Absolutely 100% know. In fact, all the data we have suggests that most women either don't need it or only need it for the time they're experienced symptoms and symptoms.
