We don't really know what would happen at this convention. And there are theories being put forward by activists on the right that are very troubling. They voted to severely onstrict the powers of the federal government, so that acting on things like covid would probably be essentially impossible. So theyare trying to ham string this country's ability to govern itself and to bring together an enormously diverse population.
