There's an idea here from our friends over at radio westro so i think it's a really strong idea. We've seen the power of lary and steel as an artifact within these families just way they hold it in such high esteem. The last time we saw lamentation it was in the hands of william royce during the ride of the seven but there's some tales that might indicate it was picked up and used shortly after two examples. A black blade made of smoke smoky black is how valerian steel is described and this might not be enough to turn him around even if he could work with it.
