Peter Beck didn't go to college. He worked as a apprentice, a dishwasher maker. New Zealand has no aerospace history at all. They were not a space-faring nation. And so history would tell you this should not work. But he really does kind of stand alone as the one person who's done this as a one-person outfit for a while.
