Levidopa

Lividopa is the active ingredient in cinemet. It's a precursor, as you said, two opamin so is l dopa. Carpedope prevents that lev dope from being broken down in the per ry. So it inhibits the engyme that breaks down livedope in the periphery. Cinnemet comes in a lot of different formulations. The immediate release formulation, just plain old cinnemed, is what we generally use most.
