The Power of Intuition
The imagination facilitates knowledge in the understanding by virtue of its ability to create comparisons or to do other sorts of functions. This rule was all about where to stop. Stop when you have a gap, like it's unable to intuit sufficiently well. I think ultimately we can know things about the empirical world, even if we're relying on these other faculties as long as it's the understanding that's doing the primary work.
