FKJ has released a few albums in the sound of FKJ and the musical world that you've created for FKJ. Did you bring mics with you or did you just use the laptop mic or? Yeah, I had one mic. Now that I have like a more of a home that I made a home during the pandemic because we didn't really have a choice to then to settle,. yeah, I have one specificmic for my saxophone, one specific mic for my piano and everything is plugged and ready to go.

In this episode John is joined by Vincent Fenton better known as FKJ (French Kiwi Juice) to talk about how he wrote, recorded and produced three tracks across his releases - ‘Time For A Change’, ‘Ylang Ylang’ and ‘Vincent’.

Giving us a glimpse at his musical journey through the years, Vincent reflects on each of the decisive elements that help characterise his signature sound, from location and significant life events, to his early homemade synth presets and sample libraries.
