The Golden Age of Bodybuilding
There's quite a lot of inspirational images from that period, and I can imagine that kind of flows into the personas that we see on Anonymous Twitter. The Golden Age bodybuilders still wanted to achieve the sort of timeless aesthetic principles that the Greeks had laid down. So he was very different from bodybuilders today who would be interested really only in putting on as much mass as possible. If you compare a bodybuilder from the 1950s or 60s to a modern bodybuilder, it's an incredible, incredible change that has taken place.
