Pandemic

Professor dan mc carthy and his students just published an interesting cohort analysis of how the pandemic impacted digital restaurant sales. And what they found is like most of the growth was a households that were already using restaurant delivery their usage, and it appears to be more sticky. A the smaller cohort of people that ordered from restaurants for the first time during the pandemic, ah, that behaviour did not stick and they're not continuing to order, but still, the sales are up higher.
