Is it a sustainable, full time living to be a cook book author? Ye. It depends on what your standar living is. If you were happy with something around 60 k a year, let's say. And ye, if you can get that, there's only a few people who actually go into that levelf of scale. Most people do a cook book and then they'll never do another one because they either didn't sell as much or, you know, just worked out for them.

Hey friends, my guest this week is Rupy Aujla - an NHS medical doctor, entrepreneur and podcaster who’s life changed when he suffered a serious heart condition at the age of 23 while working busy shifts as a hospital doctor. But with the power of nutrition and lifestyle changes Rupy was actually able to reverse his condition. He then started his blog, The Doctor’s Kitchen, which soon evolved into a podcast, best selling books, regular television appears and most recently an app. In the conversation me and Rupy chat about a lot of things: his early days working as a doctor and burnout, how to optimise your lifestyle for longevity and his transition from a doctor to a creator and entrepreneur.
