The Fascism of the Working Class
Fascism is the accumulated grievances of a bunch of socially atomized and fractured individual market actors. I don't think we were in a revolutionary situation in the 1960s in the United States. And so you've got the so what is fascism? It is this lump of pissed off petty bourgeois and smallholders who are brought together not by any of them, but by bohemians and former socialists over produced elites. People who can use their abilities as symbologists and as demagogues and as political artists.
