Our culture tells us to be authentic and put our feelings first, but if you're trying to win a debate, your focus needs to be on your opponents' feelings. Lesson number one, don't be yourself. It's a dead end. The simple proposal in front of the audience tonight is whether or not you can trust the mainstream media. And nobody is saying that non-mainstream media don't have frailties. Of course they do. We have to come in and understand that debates are not personal and we have to talk about these topics.
