Americans and Russians are both exposed to an equal amount of propaganda that is equally not necessarily untrue, but it's not either bullshit or straight up wrong or false. And I think there's one other big difference. There's a much, you've already mentioned this, there's a much greater penalty for questioning the motives and intent of the people publishing the propaganda.
