I Think It's a Combination of Lots of Things

She used almost the same language as DeCindy Ardern did in her resignation speech. It seems like there's time for a change and she's obviously been under personal pressure. There have been very bitter splits in her party over gender but also over Alex Sammellum. I just wonder whether it's a more general point that it's hard to be a leader for a long time these days. In the end most people, well either the electorate is quite volatile which it is or for individuals it's perhaps more wearing than before.
