The Poetics of Design

I have used the phrase like less design is problem solving more design is poetry. How do you sort of shift that mindset from problem solving to imagination I guess is maybe the question but I'm specifically interested about that in sort of like the studio model. People can enter those fields and go through their whole life without ever framing a project for themselves or framing a set of questions for themselves right so you can go from like undergrad where the teacher gives you an assignment and you're answering it then into professional world when people start working on things they don't know how to answer them. It's very difficult to ask yourself what's important to me, what are my values as a designer what am I really
