The Fed's Plan to Keep the Jobless Rate Down
The CPI numbers were very encouraging because they came in lower than anticipated. The labor market resilient, still strong, the jobless rate last month, falling down to 3.6%. Fed now thinks you'll get to 4.1%, but is that even going to be the case? It's not going to matter to them. They'd be very happy to leave unemployment at 3.6% if inflation comes down.
