John Brown's Influence on American Politics
John Brown saw a Toussaint Loewer chair who is the leader of the revolution in Haiti as somebody to look up to. One of the main roads in Port-au-Prince Haiti is actually named after John Brown so I think it shows how much this is all connected and how much the influence ran across lots of different countries.
