The Impact of Test Takers on Academic Performance

I know in Korea like oftentimes tests and stuff are really closely linked to rank. So I just wonder if it breeds more fierce competition even at your school where you say there may be less academically intense than other schools. This is actually one of the aspects of my school that I love. That focus on testing and the ranking system has very little effect on students for the most part. Most of them don't care about their rank. Our school also does not post ranks for students. There's not necessarily an incentive to excel but there's a low barrier to hop over to get through high school at our school.
