The Different Types of Inner Speech

This inner speech from a developmental perspective relate in any way to how we use concepts and our ability to abstract. This is a very interesting topic of research that I've been exploring with the Italian psychologist and linguist, Anna Borki. We're just speculating at this stage because we don't have good data yet. But for example, when you're trying to get your head around a complex abstract concept, it might be quite useful to talk to yourself.
