The Prophetic Idea of Douglas Douglas

Douglas escaped from maryland in 18 38, when he was 20 years old. Many slaves found their way to freedom through the underground railroad. Douglas became active in the black abolitionist community and gave speeches. He often referenced the king james's bible and was especially influenced by the books of the prophets.
