The Bear Attack in Hakai-Des-Lek-Shumara-Nai

There's a lot of concerns about officials and bear experts that the island's growing population of brown bears is increasing the risks of deadly encounters. The exact population of Hakai-do brown bears is difficult to pin down, but they've definitely doubled over the three-decade period between 1990 and 2020. There just seems to be a real issue with bears encroaching on humans' habitat. But yeah, it's one of those things where bear, beast and man, cannot seem to get along in this particular situation because bears are huge and hungry all of the time.
