The Importance of Detecting IDs in the Marine Corps
Going out at night was pretty much off the table and we took so many casualties in the first three months that the Marine Corps almost just pulled my unit really. We would have a bolt gun like in the guard towers okay um but we would never take them on patrol it was just it was too too easy to identify with within the close confines in which we're doing plus it wasn't the same caliber as other sniper weapons.
