The Jurors Go Home Without a Jury

After a seven day trial, it was now in the hands of the jury. The detective who brought this cold case back to life was sweating. He dos never know what a jury is going to do. On the first night, the jury deliberated until nine 30 p m and then announced they we going home. And my thought was, holy cow. Wouldn't be doing us all over again? Could be?
