Molly and I drive through the neighborhood, stopping at all the houses where no one answered the door. Molly puts the car on drive when we slowly make our way into the so-called modest neighborhood. The reality is that it's not so easy to throw a brick through a window. It just takes me once to learn my lesson. And standing there on the sidewalk, impervious to the chill coming off the lake, I hurl the brick away.
