The Importance of Unconditional Positive Regard in Parenting

Exposure therapy is when you determine what it is that you're afraid of. And then you, you move time a little bit towards it in order to develop your courage. You have to want to do it. Because if you know your therapist makes you do it, then that can make it worse. That's probably where so many of the problems start with parenting because parent doesn't understand how important the voluntary side is in any sort of learning.
