The Effects of Being Too Extrinsically Motivated
Research has shown that too much extrinsic motivation can actually lead to a decrease in your motivation to earn them so because you get used to them yeah and then they feel less substantial. Getting used to having a hundred thousand likes on instagram yes that doesn't make me want to post no like where's the start on the day when you first started to get it was like fucking hell let's do this but the more you get it the more used to it you become.
