The Importance of Division in Reformed Movements

In this episode of Theology Applied, Pastor Voddie Baucham and Pastor Joel Webbon discuss the “Old Fault Lines” and the quickly emerging “New Fault Lines.”
At one point in the conversation, Joel asks Voddie this question: “How can we gain unity with our brothers on these important issues?” Voddie’s response was simple: “Division is Good.” Voddie continued by insightfully pointing out that theological division eventually forces Christian brothers to debate the “substance” of each other’s arguments. And this… eventually by God’s grace… brings about further theological clarity and TRUE UNITY.
